How the application works

In addition to its classic function as a bandage, it can be used with MEDIVID Cryo Fluid (ready-mixed) as follows:

In the mixing box:

  • Before use, add 5 times the amount of water to the concentrate in a mixing box.
  • Soak an absorbent bandage with the liquid.
  • Wring out the soaked bandage before use.
  • Wrap the area to be cooled spirally with the damp bandage.
  • Finally, wrap with a fixing wrap.

In the stand-up pouch (to-Go-Bag):

  • Place the soaked bandage in the filled to-Go-Bag.

Close the bag tightly.

  • When using, wrap the area to be cooled spirally with the damp bandage.
  • Finally, wrap with a fixing wrap.

Alternatively, when using MEDIVID CRYO Fluid:

  • Pour 40 ml of MEDIVID CRYO Fluid and the bandage into the to-Go-Bag. Close the bag tightly.
  • When using, wrap the area to be cooled spirally with the damp bandage.
  • Finally, wrap with a fixing wrap.

After approx. 2 hours or when the cooling subsides, remove and dispose of the fixing wrap. Rewind the MEDIVID bandage and wash it if necessary. The MEDIVID bandage is washable at 30°C.

To continue cooling, soak the bandage (again) and apply it, then wrap with a new fixing wrap.
